Quality and compliance
Quality, certificates and EUDR compliance
Our quality system runs from the tree to the port, and our farm is certified organic and mapped for the EU Deforestation Regulation.
Certificates
Certified for Europe, North America and Japan
Organic certification covers washed Arabica from our own estate. Certificate copies are available on request.
EU Deforestation Regulation
EUDR-ready Ethiopian coffee
EU buyers must prove their coffee was not grown on land deforested after 2020. We make that easy:
| Geolocation | GPS polygons for our own farms, Gembo (110 ha) and Gube-Muleta (11.5 ha), and for registered outgrower plots |
|---|---|
| Land use | Coffee grown under existing native forest shade; no forest clearing for coffee |
| Traceability | Each lot linked to its source plots through station records |
| Documents | Polygon files and due-diligence data shared with buyers |

EUDR geolocation
Maps of our own coffee farms
Both farms are in Urgeyi Kebele, Mana District, Jimma Zone, Oromia. Each map shows the farm boundary, the river buffer area and the farm office.

Buyers can request the original KML polygon files for EUDR due diligence by email: [email protected]

- Fermentation and washingWashed lots are fermented and washed in clean water channels.
- Sun dryingParchment and naturals dry slowly on raised African beds, with moisture checked to export standard.
- Milling and sortingCoffee is hulled, screen-graded and hand-sorted for defects before export.
- Cupping and inspectionEvery lot is cupped, matched to the approved sample and inspected by ECTA before shipment.
